You know when you have an accident, you hurt like crazy, you go to the doctors, you might even get to see a consultant who is highly qualified to deal with your injury but then… you get a diagnosis but not a solution (and an iffy prognosis).
What do you do?
If you are like me, you don’t accept the hand you have been dealt and you set out to resolve your problem.
In this ebook I tell my story of how I was diagnosed with severe bone bruising and what I did to recover from it.
I couldn’t find much information at first but because I was bed ridden for a number of weeks I had all the time in the world to do my research. I read as many medicals journals as I could to understand how fracture healing works and what I could do to support my body as it was busy repairing the bruised bones.
What you’ll learn about healing from bone bruising
When you have suffered bruises to your bones you experience excruciating pain at first accompanied by swelling, heat and stiffness if joints are involved.
In my ebook I take you through the different stages of healing and what you can expect in the days, weeks and months following your injury.
- How you must change your nutrition to meet your new needs
- The supplements that will support you and speed up healing
- The best exercise protocols to help your bones get stronger
Why am I sharing my story about my bone bruising accident?
When I had my accident I was devastated and scared but mostly angry that nobody seemed to care about helping me make a full recovery. It seemed that all I got was a little bit of slap happy advice but no useful direction as to what I should do to best support my healing.
Judging by the messages that readers of my blog post left and the emails I get from time to time it’s clear that I am not alone in “being alone” through this ordeal. Hence I decided to share my story in hope that it will give others a starting point with their healing at the very least.
If you have been recently diagnosed with bone bruising and are not sure what to do next then my ebook is for you.
P.S. This e-book isn’t meant to be a substitute for medical advice, it’s the story of my personal healing journey and how I went from being told that “I might” be able to walk properly again to making a full recovery instead and go back to doing gymnastics and Krav Maga at 49. At the very least, if you are stuck and don’t know what to do, this ebook will give you ideas of questions that you can ask your medical consultant so that you can help him/her help you. 😉
